Cossetti, Roero Arneis DOCG 2006 12% abv
This Arneis, an ancient local white grape variety from the Roero region of Piedmont, is a wine that is undergoing something of a renaissance. Unheard of a few years ago, Roero Arneis is the trendy white finding its way on to the menus of the finest Italian restaurants in the land. This wonderful example is very dry (almost Champagne-like), refreshing with a long elegant finish, and particularly good with antipasto and fish.
