Sugo alla Ligure is the simple, classic Ligurian tomato sauce with basil and garlic. One jar is enough for two people, warmed and stirred through cooked pasta. Great with spaghetti and lots of parmesan either as a quick lunch, or as an accompaniment to a larger meal, such as Vitello Milanese (veal in breadcrumbs).
