Barolo DOCG, Cossetti 2004 13.5% abv
A fine Barolo from the Cossetti family, who have been producing fine wines in Piedmont since 1891. This is a wonderful, garnet-coloured wine with a full body and a velvet finish with spices and vanilla. Perfect with truffles, game and meat dishes, or a hearty pasta. 2004 was widely acknowledged as the greatest vintage in decades. Lay a couple of bottles down and they will continue to improve for another 10 years.
